Visage Dental is based in Prestbury, just outside Macclesfield, at Weavers House on New Road. For many people in and around Macclesfield, that makes us a convenient choice for both everyday dental care and cosmetic treatment. We see patients for check-ups and hygiene as well as 3D printed ceramic veneers, Invisalign clear aligners and composite bonding.
We believe you should understand your options before you choose one. That is why we begin by listening. You tell us what bothers you about your smile, we examine your teeth and gums, and then we explain what might help, including the limitations, risks and costs of each approach. Sometimes the answer is a small change; occasionally it is no treatment at all.
Whatever treatment you are considering, your first consultation is free.
Veneers cover the front surface of teeth and can be used to change their colour, shape or proportions. We use 3D printed ceramic veneers, which begin with a digital scan of your mouth. From that scan we plan the proposed design, and you can review and discuss it with us before your veneers are produced.
Why ceramic? It has a smooth, glazed surface that usually resists staining better than resin. Like any dental restoration, though, veneers need looking after and are not a permanent, maintenance-free solution.
Prices start from £475 per tooth. Your total will depend on how many teeth are included in your plan and on any treatment needed beforehand. You will receive a written quote first. Where some preparation of the tooth surface is needed, we will explain what is involved and why.
Gaps, crowding and twisted teeth can affect how a smile looks, and sometimes how easy teeth are to keep clean. Invisalign clear aligners move teeth in small stages using a sequence of removable trays.
Following an assessment, we can tell you whether aligners are likely to be suitable and, if so, map out your treatment digitally. We will explain roughly how long it may take, what is expected of you day to day and why retainers matter afterwards. Some patients find that straightening their teeth first reduces the amount of cosmetic work they need later.
Composite bonding is a hand-sculpted technique. We apply a tooth-coloured resin to the tooth, shape it and polish it. It can be useful for fixing a chip, improving an uneven edge or closing a small space, usually with minimal or no drilling.
Bonding does tend to stain and wear more readily than ceramic, so occasional maintenance is normal. Our blog post comparing 3D printed veneers with porcelain and composite goes into more detail on costs and upkeep.
We are also a general practice. Patients from the Macclesfield area visit us for routine examinations, hygiene visits, fillings, crowns and other care. Before any cosmetic work begins, we make sure your teeth and gums are healthy.

Not necessarily. Depending on the cause of the staining, whitening or composite bonding may be worth considering. We will talk you through the alternatives.
Teeth can drift back over time, so retainers are needed to help hold them in place. We will explain the retainer options and how to look after them.
